The Zaria Sociological Journal is committed to promoting open and accessible scholarly communication. All articles published in this journal are made freely available online immediately upon publication, without any subscription or paywall barriers. Authors retain copyright of their work, and the journal applies the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)

Repository Policies (Self Archiving Rights):

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit any version of their manuscript in institutional, disciplinary, or public repositories, as well as on their personal or departmental websites.

Preprint Version (Submitted Version): Authors may deposit the version submitted to the journal (before peer review) in repositories or preprint servers at any time.
Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Version): Authors may deposit the peer-reviewed, accepted version of their manuscript immediately upon acceptance.
Published Version (Version of Record): Authors may deposit the final published PDF provided by the journal immediately after publication.

Indexing and Harvesting: The journal supports the use of the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). This ensures that metadata of all published articles is freely available for indexing in repositories, search engines, and academic databases.
